講義題目: History of Analytic Philosophy
授業の目標・概要: Analytic Philosophy is the predominant style of English-language philosophy. This course will survey its history, from the turn of the 20th century until around the 1970's.

授業計画: Topics to be covered include:
- Russell and logical atomism - The Vienna Circle and logical positivism - Sense data theory - Behaviourism and functionalism - Philosophy of language - Ethics in 20th Analytic Philosophy
Emphasis will be placed on understanding the main arguments rather than detailed exegesis.
授業の方法: Each class will involve lectures and frequent group discussions. The class will be conducted in English.
成績評価方法: The final grade will be based on participation in discussion, occasional in-class quizzes, and a take-home exam (in English) at the end of the semester.
